The 10.6-metre-long skeleton of an adult female sperm whale known as Jubi Lee at the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum isn't the first whale to be exhibited in a museum in Singapore. The skeleton of a larger blue whale took pride of place at the Raffles Museum (renamed the National Museum in 1960) for more than 60 years since it was first displayed in 1907. But how did Singapore obtain the skeleton, and where is it now?
