In the 1970s and 1980s, primary school children were encouraged to drink milk in school. By the late 1980s, this initiative had curdled.

To promote the nationwide “Name and Milk Package Design Contests” in January 1983, existing milk packets were replaced with new packaging bearing the message, “This is your milk” in a child’s handwriting, with the added text “We need a name and design.
